an 18th century orthodox Russian icon,

depicting the

Dormition of the Virgin

with us in a horrible condition,

but highly decorative and ready for restoration

in Denmark

a Chihonga Chokwe mask of the Delta 98 Den Haag collection

We were so happy to have this 

African Chihonga mask of the Chokwe People 

in our collection.

Not because of the stories it told,

not because it leaded to old pictures,

but because it matched so wonderful with 

a post war painting by the female Dutch artist

Lucie van Duijn (1924-2013)
